Dynamic Mindfulness
Dynamic Resilience offers certified trainings and in-class or workplace sessions in Dynamic Mindfulness.
Transformative Life Skills (TLS) is a trauma-informed, evidence-based, dynamic mindfulness program created by Niroga Institue. It uses simple movements and breathing techniques that develop stress resilience, self-awareness and emotional regulation that support self-care, impulse control and healing from trauma. The practice is based on neuroscience, somatic psychology and trauma research.
The practice has been used with all age groups from preschool to Elders for both prevention and intervention. The practice is effective in short periods (the research found 15-minute sessions, 3 times a week produced significant benefits for youth), but it is also helpful even just doing it for 2-3 minutes at a time when needed throughout the day.
The full workshop is 2 days with the first day focusing on the impacts of chronic stress and trauma, the scientific basis for the practice, learning the tools and self-care. The second day is about using these tools with others for both prevention and intervention during fight, flight, freeze responses. Depending on the time available, we can also offer the tools during a shorter workshop.
